A little encouraging news

I spoke with Tanya earlier, and she had just talked to Reagan. Reagan and his boss had just been discussing the possibility of Nathon getting the driving job. Reagan's boss, Blair, said they were still waiting on the results of the Motor Vehicle Report, but of all of the drivers who applied and interviewed for the position, Nathon seemed to be the one with his head on straight.
Not an official "yes, he's getting the job", but Nathon's MVR is clean other than the wreck from October where he was hit by the 18 wheeler-but he had already told them about that in the interview. But, all in all, he's suppose to hear from them tomorrow, and so far we have that little bit of encouraging news!

Craving His Word!

I love the Lord! I love to hear His Word! I wish Bible study was two times a day! It is so awsome to have my very own uncle leading Bible study, doing AWSOME devotionals and Bible times! It is soooo uplifting to my soul to see William's giddy grin of excitement as he spreads the Word of our precious Savior! I feel VERY blessed to have such an awsome family who loves the Lord! And an Uncle who is more like a best friend that has given himself and his life whole heartedly to serving God! And a sweet and caring Aunt Regina who is always there for me to share a burden or a blessing with! I just want everyone to know, if you don't know Jesus as your true Lord and Savior, you have no idea what blessings you are missing out on! To Open A Jewelry Store?

So, yesterday Nathon and I went to the Bazaar off of Buckner in Dallas to get his windows tinted cheap. We, of course, meandered around in circles for the longest 3 hours of my life (including child birth). Amazingly, however, right before we were going to leave I stumbled across a little spot in a corner where a lady was busy behind a desk hand making beautiful jewelry. My first thought when I saw all the glimmering beauty that adorned the walls of her little shop was that I couldn't afford such beautiful jewelry....or could I? So, I walked up an inquired about a large piece that was made of genuine turquoise, red coral and other beautiful natural stones - it had a large gorgeous turquoise cross pendant. It was only $28.00! As I looked further she had many many more handmade all natural stone, coral, etc necklaces, and earrings... I saw several strands of fresh water pearl necklaces. Ok, so then I was thinking, wow, they are so pretty, pearls are a classic, cant go wrong with pearls. 28" FRESH WATER PEARL NECKLACE..$18.00! So I got it and a 16" that the pearls were a bit larger on. $35.00 in all.

I was so excited! Still am, by the way! When I got home I was looking online to figure how much of a bargain I got. Low and behold, I happened across a website where I could buy handmade items like this at wholesale prices. I am talking things you see at high end jewelry stores for $65.00-85.00, for 5.00, with real sterling silver clasps that are exquisitly vintage in appearance!

So, I am thinking about opening a little kiosk in the Plano Bazaar to sell really beautiful jewelry at discount prices! I even found a supplier online for gorgeous sterling silver jewelry.

I am so excited at the prospect of doing something so fun! It's like a dream job! So, Nathon and I are talking about, and praying about it, and we will see where the good Lord leads us!
